This spring we started installing new hardware, software and cabinets in our service area to provide faster DSL speed to our customers. The upgrade should be completed by early fall. Under perfect conditions with our previous equipment, customers wiring and customer computers, the top speed was 1 Mbps downstream and .50 Mbps upstream.
Speed has now
increased to 6 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
More speed, same price, $49.95.
This is the perfect time to change from dial up or begin using the internet. The internet is a great tool to look up information, to keep in touch with family and friends, skype, stream videos, and so much more.
Call us today at 802-897-9911 and ask about our latest promotions to get started.

IT’S THE LAW!
DIG-SAFE REMINDER
CALL BEFORE YOU DIG!
Utility cables could be buried anywhere, so it’s important to know their location before you dig.
State law requires all homeowners and contractors to notify utility companies by contacting DIG SAFE before doing any excavation projects including but not limited to;
Digging for fence posts, gardens, trees, installing and replacing culverts or mailboxes. Calls to DIG SAFE should be made at least 2 business days in advance.
DIG SAFE is a free service and can be reached by calling 888-DIG-SAFE (888-344-7233) or on the web at www.digsafe.com.
We would also appreciate a call to our office at (802) 897-9911 or toll free at 877-283-8108 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday or (802) 897-8811 after hours or in an emergency.
If our telephone cable gets cut or injured and DIG SAFE was not contacted first, the contractor or homeowner will be
charged for all repairs and service fees. It is also Shoreham Telephone Company’s responsibility to file an
“Underground Facility Damage Report” with the State of Vermont Public Service Department, Dig Safe Division.
Once they receive the report, there will be an investigation by the State of Vermont PSD and a fine could be imposed.
